Google Apps vs Microsoft Live in Swedish HighEd - Winner Microsoft?
Today Microsoft and Malmö University (http://www.mah.se/) announce that they will start to use Live@Edu (http://blogs.technet.com/microsoftnyheter/archive/2010/05/17/nnu-en-h-gskola-v-ljer-microsoft.aspx).
So I wanted to update the statistics a bit, it will clearly show that Microsoft is gaining momentum
In Sweden (during autumn 2009, according to http://www.hsv.se/statistik/statistikomhogskolan there were 384 741 students. From what I know the universities below have implemented a solution for their students. In total: 88 492 students are using Google Apps and 47 553 are using Microsoft Live@Edu.
