Educause09

I am heading to Educause09 on Monday morning at 06.00 am. The trip is naturally on TripIT (http://www.tripit.com/trip/show/id/1706480).

This year I am especially interested in the area of "User Generated Content" (UGC) / Social Media and any new trends emerging in the High Ed community.

When it comes to UGC I expect that many High Ed organizations will endeavor into this area the coming year(s). The question is naturally what should be done, what would be unique. I am also very interested to see if there are any good examples or any failed examples.

Another topic that is growing in interest is Business Intelligence in Higher Ed. What have others done? What should be done? What tools are commonly used?

EduCause week is also a good place to network and meet up with people, and there will be opportunity to network in casual forms.
